Friends!

I’m Charlie, a traveler from the US who decided to start a cheesy blog for a round’-the-world gallivant in 2023. ​In my first year I backpacked in South America and Southeast Asia, visiting 9 countries. Then in September, 2024, I moved to Córdoba Spain where I worked for one year as a Auxiliare de Conversación (English language assistant) at I.E.S. Aljanadic in Posadas. During that year I got to experience Spanish life, living next to the Mezquita in historic Córdoba, and traveling around Andalucía and Europe in my free time!

In August, 2025, I moved home to the US, settling in Baltimore, Maryland, where I now work as a high school teacher. Stay tuned for more updates!
